NOBLE TALES. A MAN AND HIS DREAM.
The Noble Tales project began several years ago when the acclaimed animation designer and artist,
Maurice Noble, was asked to help train a new generation of designers
and filmmakers in the "Classic Style". This group of trainees became known as the "Noble Boys"
(which also included a few girls). Under Maurice's guidance, this group collected, and developed
a wide range of stories from all over the world. It was Maurice's
hope to develop these stories into a unique group of short films known as Noble Tales.
Presently there are over 40 Noble Tale ideas and short projects in various stages of development.
After going into semi-retirement from the animation industry, Maurice Noble also created a body of
personal fine artwork. His prints have been applauded by critics for
their sensitive handling of color, composition and outstanding craftsmanship. A special
hand-signed limited-edition of prints is now available for sale to public.
Original hand-pulled serigraph prints are also available -
prices available upon request.
Al Tudi Tuhak is the first short animated film funded by Noble Tales
scholarship and is now playing at international film festivals including Cannes and has won the Student Academy Award.
